I always have the tendency to complain when things don’t go right or the way I planned it. Tell me I’m not alone in this! Last weekend, God taught me an important lesson. Sometimes, you won’t know why things happen or don’t happen until you see the BIG PICTURE. Everything happens for a reason. Really!
1.) The guy at the computer shop was intensely annoying. I tried my best to keep calm and try to laugh at his jokes. I was pretty successful at managing the small talk until we talked about both our businesses. Before I left, he turned out to be a potential client!! If I had been impolite to him, I definitely wouldn’t have gotten a new client!
2.) I automatically pay our insurance every month so I don’t get a billing notice anymore. But last month, I had problems with the automatic payment so I received a billing notice for the first time in 2 years! Fast forward, I needed to apply for a phone line under my name and I had no proof to show that I live in our address. Suddenly, I realized that I just received a billing notice with my address and name on it! And that was what I used! =)
3.) I went to the office to submit my requirements but the clerk won’t come in until 12pm. I had to wait for 30 minutes. I was initially irritated (again) but then I realized that I hadn’t eaten lunch so God gave me time to eat before I go to my appointment at 1pm.
Isn’t God good?! I’m so happy that God made me sensitive enough to learn this lesson last weekend.
Do you always see the big picture or get irritated easily?

Right…. I wish it comes naturally to me though! Haha
The hardest part in life is still able to remain calm and peaceful and full of love under every circumstances. No matter how awful the day is, we still have the choice to choose our attitude and to be happy. God wants us to be happy cause life is short and precious. Life does not happen to us, life responds to us. It responds to our thoughts and feelings. If we are feeling great, nothing can put us down. It is a matter of our choice.
We can always choose love.
