I always get this question and I always stutter when I answer because I don’t really have a job. No, not really. I mean I do but I don’t have an 8-5 job. I don’t really like being in one place for 8 hours or so. I want the freedom to do what I want to do when I want to do them. So what do I really do?
I’m a wedding host. I started hosting when I was in college. In the Philippines, 18th birthday (debut) is the most awaited year of a teenage girl. It’s usually a very big party. The first time I hosted was when my high school classmate, Princess, approached me and asked if I could host her debut together with a friend of her sister. It was very exciting. I love public speaking so this idea was really awesome for me. Since then I’ve been hosting debuts, parties, weddings, etc. And this year, Princess is going to get married! I received an email from her recently asking if I could host her big day! I’m so excited!!
I’m a blogger. I don’t really get much income from blogging but it is something that takes my time too. I have two blogs. This one and another about weddings (The Blog for Brides).
I’m a entrepreneur. We bake chocolate cupcakes as souvenirs for parties and rent out chocolate fountains. We also have tablets for hot choco. And our other business is importation and distribution of some products from the US.
I’m a transcriptionist. In the mornings, I spend my time transcribing messages from our church. It’s not really a job but the church gives a little allowance (or sort of love gift) for the work.
I’m an ESL Teacher. This one I really love! I don’t do it full time though. I teach freelance and I could always make time for teaching if I have to. =)
I’m an actress. Hahahaha.. Ok, I want to be one. =p Did you see my recent post? I auditioned for a lead role in a film. Thanks for those who voted me! The final cast has not been announced but I will surely keep you posted! =)
So there, what do you think I shoukd tell when people ask me what I do? lol..

. I used to think that I wanted to be a wedding planner, but after planning my own wedding I decided that it was way too stressful for me!
