I look forward to…

Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last post regarding my three girlfriends who gave birth last week. As of yesterday, I got a message that another friend gave birth! So, that makes it four! Haha.. What a wonderful world with new born babies!! =)

Anyway, today.. I received a newsletter from Mama Kat with this week’s writing prompts.

One of which is to write about something that I look forward to… Almost immediately, my brain said…

I look forward to getting out of this mess! =p

We made a major decision without consulting God =( I know.. like.. “You should have known better!” I know I know. Please don’t scold me. When you’re excited and all and when you feel like you know it all. There… that’s when people make huge mistakes including me! And now we are reaping the consequences of our action. It feels horrible knowing that we wouldn’t have been in this situation if we had “prayed”. And now, the lesson is struck in my heart and mind! Never ever be impulsive! Always pray before anything!

One thing that keeps me sane though is my husband. I love that in spite of an intense situation we are in, we still manage to laugh and laugh and laugh some more. I really appreciate his leadership and logic. I learn so many things from him and I’m so grateful everyday that I married him! Ah, it’s so nice to be married. =)

If you remember me tonight when you pray, can you pray for us? That we may be able to move on and make decisions with clarity! I know God is with us. =)

Have a happy Tuesday!!!

You sound like me at the moment! I have been feeling more and more weighted down by all of my responsibilities as of late. I couldn’t figure out why all of a sudden I was overwhelmed, when it hit me–I haven’t had personal devotions in over a month! Not only that, but I haven’t been having family devotions either! We’ve had visiting children and a lot of extra work around the farm which just made me not realize how long it’s been. Other than the normal day to day conversations/prayer that we have about/to God, there has been no “downtime” to actually meditate on His Word privately or as a family. No wonder I’m feeling overwhelmed! Sleep has really become an idol and one that I am having a hard time overcoming to get up to do my devotions in the morning and I am too exhausted to do them after the kids go to bed. So, I will pray for you…can you please remember to pray for me? :-D

That’s a lot of babies at once! Wow, you’re friends are going to have a lot of support among each other since all their babies will be growing up together.
