Second Chance

God is in the business of changing lives. How did I know that? Because He changed me.

My college days weren’t the most pleasing days of my life. This was when I learned how to smoke, drink and party all I want. I would cut classes to be with my friends and party instead of study.

My husband has the same story. He spent more time with his friends than with his family. He learned and did things he later regretted. Our friends would jokingly accuse him of having selective amnesia because he wouldn’t even remember some of the naughty things he’d done in the past. He would often ask in wonder, “Did I really do that?”

That’s how the first part of our life looked like but it didn’t end there. God came into the picture. He didn’t allow us to go the downward spiral. He rescued us before it was too late.

I have always loved this verse.
It gives me an assurance that God has forgiven me the moment I gave the full control of my life to Jesus.

Today, my husband and I are still a work in progress. We will still be until our last breath but we are more than glad that God has not given up on us. He loved us and gave us a second chance to live this life the right way.

Do you want to be changed by God?
Do you want to have that second chance to make things right in your life?
You know what, it’s not yet too late!

This si so true! I had a very similar college experience, and God never let me go. Praise Him for the second (and third, and fourth) chances He gives us every day!
