My in-laws visited our place on Mama Alice’s Birthday (my mother-in-law) last week. Their hometown is hours away from our home, so we rarely see each other. It’s really neat to see them once in a while!

We had a little party that night. Hubby and I initially planned for us to dine out but he said that it would be nicer if I could just cook so they would “experience” my cooking. I hope I gave it justice! I prepared…Pasta Sardines (my specialty), Spring Rolls, Vegetable Salad and Garlic Bread. Hubby bought a Black Forest Cake for our dessert. =)
Mama Alice is such a sweet mom! =) She always makes me feel loved. Her optimism and cheerfulness (which are characters that Hubby also inherited) is so contagious!

Mama, I hope that you’ll have more and more birthdays to come! I love you so much and I can’t thank God enough for you! You raised Bert so well. He takes care of me like he does to you and your family. I’m so so glad to be part of the Medina-Bigornia Clan. I love you always!
